How rider cancellation fees are charged?

Any trip cancellation can be frustrating. This is why we have put the cancellation fee in place to make sure drivers are fairly compensated for their time after they accept a passenger's ride request. The cancellation fees for a card trip will be automatically charged on your card while the fee for cash trips will be added to your next trip.

Cancellation fees are applied in the following situations:

  • A passenger doesn't arrive at the pickup location within 5 minutes of the driver's arrival.
  • A passenger cancels a trip request more than 5 minutes after a driver accepts the trip and the driver is running on time (within 5 minutes).
